This is a late Sunday night report!!!

If your a old school ECW fan this is going to be the week to check out RFVIDEO.com!!!!

I had a great weekend thus far as it kicked off on Friday night with by far one of the most amazing weddings that I have ever been to.  Danny Doring got married this past weekend and had a lot of the ECW crew back in the saddle again for his huge event.  I have to say it was the best wedding that I have ever been to.  I can't put over the food enough.  Not sure if anyone has ever been to the buffet at the Borgota in AC but their cocktail hour was that times 10X!!!  When dinner was served a hour or so later everyone was still stuffed.  To top it off they had a desert buffet that made you feel like you were in the movie Willie Wonka!!!  Just an amazing night and I want to wish Danny and Miamarie congrats once again!!

I also got a chance to take in two movies this weekend.  Everyone should check out the movie Brooklyn Finest and the new Alice in Wonderland in Imax 3-D.

Like I said this is going to be a huge week for RF VIDEO as we have a lot going down in the RF VIDEO headquarters and we will be shipping a lot of orders as we finally have a lot of titles back in stock that might have been sold out.  Plus we have a ton of new releases as well!!!

There is one wrestler out there who has always been outspoken about how to make it in the wrestling business and to go about it in the right manner.  He has done a lot of shoot interviews about these subjects with RF VIDEO but now it's time to actually step food inside the actual ring with him and witness his knowledge as he hands it down to a class of 12 students of the game.  Just when you thought you knew all the answers, Al Snow changes the questions!!  For the first time ever Al Snow invites you the wrestling fan or upcoming wrestling Inside the Ring with Al Snow.

This DVD is a must have for anyone trying to make it in the wrestling business.  Al Snow's world famous seminars have never been caught on tape, that is until now.  RFVIDEO filmed a four hour seminar that breaks down the barrier and allows you to really understand the business from an inside view point.  This DVD is full of lessons that anyone breaking into the sport should know and understand.  Now we are going to allow everyone to watch this totally open and honest shoot style seminar to make it out for the masses to enjoy.  So you think you know how to be a wrestler.  You think you know how to put together a good match.  What works in the ring.  Do you think you know how to get heat?  Think you know how to get yourself over?  Do you think you make a good babyface or a heel? Can you really cut a good promo?  Do you understand how to move around the ring?  Do you really even know what a finish is?

There are all the questions that you will hear Al go over with this class as he has them do actual matches in front of him and then he critiques each guy and tells them what they were doing right or wrong.  Most of today's matches did not go the way that Al had wanted which makes it for a great DVD as he really Al open up and give some of the hardest taught lessons that needed to be taught to get this class to the next level.

We have done other Inside the Ring DVD's, but this one is the most informative of all of them.  You get to listen to Al talk about what the WWE is looking for when they hire a guy and how they can make money with you.  What happens if you cant work or get yourself over, well Al gives about 60 minutes of this DVD series some of his best stories from behind the curtains in WWE and tells you exactly what they are looking for, and how they will make money with you if you have the "it" factor.

The 60 minutes mini interview with the class before the three hour workout session is worth the price of the DVD itself.  Never before in any of Al's shoots do you get to hear what the WWE office is looking for and how the agents handle their business with the wrestlers to better the product.  What really goes on in FCW if you are hired by the WWE and what they want you to get out of going into that system.

These are just a few of the topics that we talked about today on this 4 hour DVD

**How to get yourself over with the office of the WWE and how to get over with the fans

**How Dave Melzter is one of the best workers out there

**How to be a good worker

**What to do to get a job in the WWE

**What to do in your dark match with Funaki if you get that chance to make it

**Talk about how the WWE is looking for new talent to get over

**Why does the Undertaker really take time off

**Talk about finishes in wrestling

**How wrestlers relate to the fans and how to get over so the fans want to be you

**Why it is stupid for guys to work stiff or the strong style  uses Roddy Strong as an example and why its bad for the business

**How to reteach the audience and make them believe in your finish

**How to make someone look good if they are smaller than you

Then we actually went into the ring and did another 3 hours of workout footage which you will learn

**How to move around the ring slower

**How to make it look like a shoot and not a work

**How to sell a basic move...

**Why a Babyface must deliver in his match what ever he talked about in his promos

**Why the Babyface must always be aggressive and always go for the pin and always move forward

**What is a finish

**How to get heat spots

**How to tell a story by selling

**Less is more

**How the heel dictates the match and how the babyface only cares about winning

There is so much more to this DVD and it's by far the most open video ever filmed by us.  If you think Tough Enough took you inside the ring you have not seen anything until you have seen "Inside the Ring with Al Snow" as this DVD is a blockbuster.

Shoot Interview with Matt Borne: What is it like to wrestle a match against someone you just got arrested for beating up 24 hours ago? What is it like to walk into a locker room as the son of a local wrestling legend? What is it like to be a part of the most historic event in the history of pro wrestling? The newest RF Video Shoot Interview will answer all of these questions and more as we are proud to present the Matt Borne Shoot Interview.

This is without a doubt one of the most fascinating shoot interviews we have ever produced. Matt Bourne has been there and seen it all and doesn't mind talking about it. For every match, every road trip, every angle, and every mistake, Matt Bourne has a story and he shares them all in this intriguing Shoot Interview.

Matt talks candidly about his personal demons in pro wrestling. Matt shares stories about partying with some of the most legendary names in the business. Matt talks in depth about his relationship with Roddy Piper and the partying the two of them used to do together in their primes. On top of that, Matt has tons of stories about drugs and alcohol abuse that he shares throughout the entire interview. Matt drops names and recalls some of the wildest stories ever told in an RF Video Shoot Interview.

Family is a big part of Matt's story. Matt talks openly about how the relationship between his sister and Buddy Rose affected his in-ring matches with Buddy. Hear all about the night Matt had to go over his sister's house and what resulted in the trip. Matt also tells a story about a match he had scheduled with Buddy 24 hours after he was arrested for beating Buddy up. How did Buddy react? How did Don Owens react? What are Matt's thoughts on it today? For those unaware, the feud between Matt and Buddy in Portland is still one of the most talked about angles and feuds to this day.

Matt has tons of stories about his days on the territories. Matt tells a revealing story about doing cocaine with a booker during their first meeting. You will be shocked when you hear who the booker was. Matt also gives his thoughts and memories about working for several infamous bookers including Ole Anderson, Don Owens, and Bill Watts. Who did Matt like working for and who did he not get along with? Matt comments on things said about these men from past guests in RF Video Shoot Interviews.

Matt also talks about some of his famous partners and in-ring opponents. Matt comments on rumors and statements said in past interviews about the Von Erichs and Fritz Von Erich. Matt also talks about his rocky relationship with his former partner the late Buzz Sawyer. In addition to the war stories, Matt has some tremendous road stories that will have you laughing throughout the interview. Which former partner and enforcer did Matt travel with who fell asleep at the wheel and what happened on that trip?

Matt talks in great length about both of his runs in the WWE. Matt talks about his first big run which included wrestling on the original WrestleMania. What was Vince like during that time? How did Roddy and Paul Orndorff really feel about Mr. T? What was the locker room like at this time? How big did he think it would get? What happened and why did Matt disappear so quickly after his first WrestleMania appearance?

Matt also talks about his memorable run as the original Doink the Clown. Did he like the gimmick? What did his friends think when they first heard about it? How did he own it and make it his own? Was Vince supportive of the character? Matt also talks about the locker room with stories on everyone from Bret Hart to Scott Hall. Which wrestler stooged him out to Vince McMahon and got him fired? Nobody is off limits when Matt takes this long walk back down WWE memory lane.

Whether it was wrestling in a flannel as Big Josh, trunks as ´Maniac¡ Matt Bourne, or spraying confetti in makeup as Doink the Clown, Matt has great stories about all phases of his career. Viewers will feel as if they were sitting on a bar stool next to Matt on a Saturday night listening to story after story. There is never a dull moment in this jam packed Shoot Interview. It is with great excitement that RF Video presents the all-new Matt Bourne Shoot Interview.

Just in case you missed what we did on Thursday here is a quick review once again:

RF VIDEO has been running all over the city of Philadelphia over the last 24 hours with former WCW World Champion DDP.  It all started last night when we kicked off our new DVD series On the Road with Diamond Dallas Page at the Market Street Station where we picked him up.  We had our cameras rolling from the time he got off the train until he checked into his 5 star hotel at the Four Seasons.   Wait until you see the trouble we caused by filming at the hotel…there are tons of WCW road stories on this DVD as well.  You will hear about his troubles with Ric Flair after his book came out and how DDP fixed the situation.  What heat did he have with the Undertaker and the WWE office if there was any at all….What happened the first time he talked to Dusty Rhodes…What are his views on the Chris Benoit tragedy?  The entire DVD will run over three hours but the main focus of this DVD was his media appearances today in Philadelphia which we were able to capture as well on this DVD from the radio show with Danny Bonaduce and Ukee Washington on Talk Philadelphia to promote his amazing YRG DVD's.

RF VIDEO was granted permission to film everything behind the scenes at the Danny Bonaduce show and we were even there in the studio and filmed his appearance on Dannys show.  They talk in great detail about TNA and if DDP would ever go back to the company.  The main focus of the appearance was DDP promoting his YRG DVD's which are a must for anybody looking to get in shape.  I actually did some of this last night with him in the hotel and its amazing.  He also showed me a video which you can check out on his new website that we plugged last night where this one guy who could not even walk can now run and he lost so much weight.  We actually will show the footage on this DVD too.  Danny was so impressed with the YRG workout that he is going to take it on as well as myself.  I am not fat or anything but this program will get you super in shape and give you abs of steal.

Everyone was great at Danny's show and they treated us well.  We than went out for Breakfast since his appearance was like at 7AM and we filmed all of our car rides as well.  From there we went back to his hotel for more talk with DDP about his YRG programs and of course wrestling talk!!  We headed out around 11AM for a private tour of the CBS studio here in Philly.  We were able to film all of this as well and we filmed DDP in the green room waiting to go on with Ukee Washington.  We also filmed everything behind the scenes with Ukee Washington as his staff was also amazing with us.  I met Ukee about 10 years ago when I was on the news for my pro wrestling shopps that I had in this area.  He actually remembered our interview together since Steve Austin was also on the same show via satellite. We had DDP and Ukee do a private interview for this DVD as well.

The highlight of the show was DDP teaching the staff how to do YRG once again.  You will all be amazed at the results as we are going to really push his YRG products thru this DVD.  It's some amazing workouts that really get you results.

The entire day was just amazing and loads of fun.  We can't thank everyone enough especially the staff over at CBS and Danny Bonaduce show.  I also want to thank DDP who allowed us to take part in this and he really let us into his world over the past 24 hours.  If you ever met DDP you know he always goes that extra mile and he was working non stop all day in his hotel on his website and company as he lives for YRG.  We can't wait to release this new on the road DVD so you can see a whole new person and see how DDP is outside of the squared circle!!!

WWE SmackDown Report!

The following is from Wrestleview;

WWE Smackdown

March 5, 2010

Wichita, KS

Report by: Mike Tedesco of WrestleView.com

A video airs hyping up the Chris Jericho/Edge feud. It highlights their verbal exchanges and the countless Spears Edge has delivered to the World Heavyweight Champion. I like how Jericho said he would never be Speared again only to get Speared a minute later.

The Smackdown video plays and we go into the arena with some pyro. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show. Our Main Event will be Edge taking on the Big Show.

Edge’s music plays and the number one contender comes out to a massive pop. We’re shown a replay of last week when Edge defeated The Miz with a massive Spear. Edge says that WrestleMania is 23 days away and he’s concerned. He’s concerned about his opponent Chris Jericho because week after week they’ve come face to face. During those times Jericho told him he’s dangerous and the best in the world at what he does but it seems the same thing keeps happening. He keeps getting Speared. The thing is that the same thing will keep happening until WrestleMania – he’ll get Speared. The crowd starts chanting Spear. I like the chant.

Big Show’s music hits and one half of the Unified Tag Team Champions makes his way to the ring. Edge says this is a depressing surprise and asks what he wants. Edge says he knows – his little buddy stuck his foot in his mouth last week and got Speared. Edge says they have a match tonight and Big Show will get Speared. Big Show says Edge isn’t the only reason he’s here. Tonight he and Miz will find out who their opponents at WrestleMania will be. Big Show says Edge got lucky when he beat The Miz. Big Show says his luck will run out tonight because he knows he’s in the ring with the largest athlete in the world. Big Show says he knows when he gets his hands on him – Edge cuts him off and asks if he’ll eat him. Big Show says he eats crap like him for breakfast.

Edge asks if Big Show really eats crap for breakfast because his breath is kicking. Edge says Show’s promises mean nothing but his do. At WrestleMania he’ll win the World Heavyweight Championship and tonight he’ll Spear him. Edge fakes a Spear and Big Show flips out. Edge asks if he thought he was going to get a Spear. Big Show charges but Edge ducks and pulls down the top rope, sending the big man over the top rope. Edge leaves the ring satisfied.

Teddy Long is reading in his office when Drew McIntyre walks in. McIntyre says a lot of people are under the impression that he lost to Kane last week. McIntyre tells Long to set the record straight to the audience. Long announces that Mr. McMahon has had last week’s lost stricken from his record. Therefore McIntyre is still undefeated. Long says Kane qualified for Money in the Bank so tonight McIntyre will be entered into another Money in the Bank Qualifying Match against Matt Hardy – next! McIntyre thanks him and goes to shake hands but Long snubs him.

-Commercial Break-

WrestleMania is 23 days away. I can’t wait.

The Money in the Bank contract is seen hanging above the ring. They play some dramatic music.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match

Drew McIntyre vs. Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy comes to the ring with his impressive NXT rookie Justin Gabriel. That 450 Splash was awesome. The Goose, Mr. V’s favorite, is the official. They lock up and McIntyre quickly backs him to the corner. McIntyre backs up and points to the WrestleMania sign. They lock up and Hardy gets a side headlock. McIntyre backs him against the ropes and kicks. McIntyre sends him to the ropes and hits a back elbow for a two count. McIntyre locks on a reverse headlock but Hardy fights up. Hardy pushes him off but McIntyre holds the ropes. McIntyre then charges into a pair of hip tosses for a one count.

McIntyre has to regroup before continuing. McIntyre kicks and head-butts him. McIntyre sends him to the ropes but lowers his head and eats a kick. Hardy then hits a big clothesline over the top rope. McIntyre kicks him on the outside but Hardy still comes out on top. Hardy charges and McIntyre flapjacks him ribs first on the barricade. McIntyre gets in the ring and looks for a count-out. Hardy rolls in and gets stomped as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from the break to see Hardy locked in an arm bar. Hardy fights up and goes for a Side Effect but McIntyre elbows out before hitting a neckbreaker on his knee for a near fall. McIntyre punches at the ribs and covers for another two count. McIntyre kicks him in the head and cuts off a Hardy comeback with a northern lights suplex for a two count. McIntyre does the ground and pound before applying a grounded abdominal stretch. Hardy fights out but quickly gets kicked. McIntyre sends him to the corner and runs into some boots. Hardy goes up top but McIntyre cuts him off. McIntyre goes for a superplex but Hardy punches him off. Hardy hits his flying elbow to the back of the neck and gets the crowd into it.

Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate but McIntyre counters into a Future Shock attempt but Hardy counters that. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate again but McIntyre jackknifes him for a two count. Hardy turns the jackknife into a roll-up for the win! Drew McIntyre’s undefeated streak ends… again!

Winner by Pinfall: Matt Hardy

Match Rating: * ¾

Drew McIntyre paces the ringside area before flipping out. McIntyre rips the cover off the announcer’s table and throws a chair. McIntyre vows to Matt Striker that he will be at WrestleMania. McIntyre walks off to boos. The Money in the Bank will now feature Christian, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, MVP, and now Matt Hardy. I guess one more spot is open.

John Morrison is watching his DVD with Slam Master J of all people. SMJ shows his abs and thanks Morrison for the tips before leaving. R-Truth comes in and greets him with his NXT rookie David Otunga. R-Truth says he got hot because he lost his NXT match but they’re cool. Otunga coldly agrees and leaves. R-Truth says last week they let Ziggles jack their spot for WrestleMania and now neither of them are going to WrestleMania. Morrison says they have one last shot against two teams with a lot of experience. They need to get on the same page if they’re going to go. R-Truth comes up with some names for the team like “This and That.” They go back and forth before R-Truth simply says “Unified Tag Team Champions.” They like that.

Tonight Rey Mysterio will take on Luke Gallows of the S.E.S. Punk wants Mysterio destroyed.

-Commercial Break-

The WWE Smack of the Night is Shelton Benjamin beating CM Punk with an assist from Rey Mysterio to enter the Money in the Bank match.

Shelton Benjamin vs. Dolph Ziggler

The match begins and they lock up. Benjamin gets a side headlock before being whipped off. Benjamin hits a shoulder block and Ziggler talks some trash. Benjamin blocks a kick and punches him. Benjamin sends him to the corner but Ziggler slingshots over and locks on his sleeper hold. Benjamin quickly gets out with a jawbreaker. Benjamin misses a stinger splash and Ziggler rolls him up for a two count.

Ziggler kicks away at him until the referee backs him up. Ziggler waits for him to get up before hitting a dropkick for a two count. Ziggler quickly applies a reverse headlock on the ground. Ziggler has it cinched on tight but Benjamin gets to his feet and punches. Ziggler cuts him off with a knee and a nice neckbreaker for a two count. Ziggler clubs him before throwing some sweat on him. Ziggler drops a big elbow for a two count. Ziggler punches him in the corner before sending him to the opposite side. Ziggler goes for a monkey flip but Benjamin lands on his feet. Benjamin then drops Ziggler with a backbreaker.

They trade some punches with Benjamin coming out on top. Benjamin has a whip reversed on him but he hits a pair of forearms. Benjamin sends Ziggler to the ropes but lowers his head and takes a kick. Ziggler goes for a clothesline but Benjamin ducks and hits a German Suplex for a two count. Benjamin gets up and approaches but Ziggler pulls him into the turnbuckle. Ziggler then locks on the sleeper hold. Benjamin flips him off but Ziggler lands on his feet. Ziggler goes for the Zig-Zag but Benjamin counters into a catapult. Benjamin then hits a botched Pay Dirt for the win.

Winner by Pinfall: Shelton Benjamin

Match Rating: * ¾

Shelton Benjamin gets on the turnbuckle and points to the WrestleMania XXVI sign.

Our Main Event will be Edge taking on the Big Show.

-Commercial Break-

Tonight we’ll see John Morrison & R-Truth take on Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty for a shot at the Unified Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania.

Jimmy Wang Yang is in the ring already. Who’s he jobbing to? Ezekiel Jackson, that’s who!

Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Ezekiel Jackson

Jackson immediately overpowers Yang by tossing him off a lock up. Yang tries a roll-up so Jackson picks him up by the neck but Yang hits a mid-air dropkick. Yang then runs into a shoulder block that turns him inside out. Jackson chokes him before punching him in the corner. Yang mounts a little comeback before getting caught attempting a cross-body. Jackson then hits the Book of Ezekiel for the win. What a surprise!

Winner by Pinfall: Ezekiel Jackson

Match Rating: N/A

Rey Mysterio is backstage with his daughter Allyah. He brings her in a new WWE toy. Mysterio says he has a match now so Tiffany will watch her. Mysterio says she can watch on TV and asks for a blessing. Mysterio then leaves. So Tiffany goes from ECW General Manager to babysitter?

-Commercial Break-

The white hot Straight Edge Society makes their way to the ring. I completely love this group. CM Punk says Rey Mysterio’s popularity stems from one thing and that is the parent’s inability to be proper role models for their children. Children love Rey Mysterio. They fill the arenas, buy his masks, and tune in Fridays to watch. Punk talks to a little boy and says his parents are neglectful. Ouch! Punk says Mysterio is not a superhero. Mysterio is just your average neglectful parent, just like everyone in the arena. Last week they cheered Mysterio’s act of cowardice because that’s all they know. Punk says Mysterio refuses to face him man to man. What he chooses to do is take cheap shots and that stripped him of his right to be a three time Money in the Bank winner.

Punk says Mysterio put his hands on Luke Gallows and for an entire week he’s carried the guilt with him. Punk tells Gallows that he forgives him but he does not forgive Rey Mysterio. Punk tells Gallows it’s time to make Mysterio pay for his actions. Gallows isn’t just fighting for him – he’s fighting for an entire society!

Luke Gallows vs. Rey Mysterio

Gallows quickly starts off the match by dominating Mysterio with kicks. Mysterio comes back with a kick of his own but Gallows quickly throws him down. Gallows sends him to the ropes and gets dropkicked in the knee. Mysterio gets a side headlock on and Gallows immediately counters with a nice back suplex. Gallows stomps Mysterio before sending him to the ropes. Mysterio ducks a clothesline and hits a head-scissors takeover. Mysterio goes into the ropes and Gallows hits a nice diving shoulder block. Darren Young, Punk’s NXT rookie, is watching backstage.

Gallows chokes Mysterio and hits an uppercut. Gallows drops a knee on the ribs before getting backed up by the referee. Gallows knees him hard in the midsection and then the face. After a few moments of hitting some strikes Gallows sends him to the ropes. Gallows lowers his head and eats a kick. Gallows angrily charges and Mysterio pulls the top rope down, sending him over. Punk quickly runs over and gives Gallows a pep talk as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from the break to see Mysterio kicking Gallows. Mysterio attempts a whip but Gallows pulls him into a short-arm clothesline. Gallows drops an elbow for a one count. Gallows sends Mysterio to the ropes but he holds on and kicks Gallows in the face. Mysterio goes for a head-scissors but Gallows throws him to the apron. Gallows then sends him back first into the ring post, sending him crashing to the floor! Gallows goes outside and press slams Mysterio back into the ring.

Gallows punches Mysterio in the corner. Mysterio is sent hard to the corner and dropped with a belly to belly suplex for a near fall. Gallows knees him in the back and head-butts him. Gallows then digs a knee into the back and pulls back on the chin. Mysterio fights up but gets caught doing a cross-body and Gallows hits a fall away slam for a near fall. Gallows then pummels him for kicking out. Gallows applies a bear hug at this point. Mysterio quickly punches out but gets shoved to the corner. Gallows then drives a shoulder into Mysterio’s midsection. Gallows goes for a second but Mysterio leaps over him and Gallows hits the ring post shoulder first.

Mysterio hits a springboard senton and a springboard cross-body for a two count. Gallows kicks Mysterio and clotheslines him from his knees for a near fall. Gallows sends him to the ropes and goes for a flapjack but Mysterio counters into a sit-out face buster. Mysterio goes to the top rope but Gallows cuts him off. Gallows goes to the second rope and gets punched off. Mysterio leaps and falls right into an uppercut. Gallows hits a big splash for a near fall. Mysterio counters a powerslam attempt into a body-scissors front face lock. Gallows gets to the ropes so Mysterio breaks the hold and dropkicks him into position. Mysterio goes for the 619 but Serena gets on the apron. Punk then distracts Mysterio. Gallows goes for a powerbomb but Mysterio counters into a senton for the win!

Winner by Pinfall: Rey Mysterio

Match Rating: ** ¼

CM Punk quickly runs into the ring and goes for a GTS but Mysterio slides off and kicks his knee. Mysterio escapes from the ring before he gets another beat down. Mysterio backs up the ramp as the S.E.S. angrily looks on. This is smelling like a WrestleMania match. Serena looks like a total nut.

Chris Jericho is backstage talking to his old partner Big Show. Jericho congratulates him on winning the titles with Miz and compliments his body of work. Jericho asks him to be the giant destroyer he knows he can be by destroying Edge. Jericho says he owes it to him. Big Show says he owes him nothing. Big Show knows why he’s here – because it’s all about Jericho. Big Show says he’s not doing this for Jericho. He’s doing it for him. Big Show grabs his titles and walks out. Jericho tells him to “go get ‘em.”

-Commercial Break-

Did you know fans from all 50 states and 24 countries have purchased tickets to WrestleMania?

The Raw Rebound airs. I understand why they highlight the Shawn Michaels thing but in my opinion the real money segment from Raw was the John Cena-Batista promo. That was just crazy.

John Morrison makes his way to the ring followed by R-Truth. They’ll team up against Cryme Tyme and the Hart Dynasty for a shot at ShoMiz’s Unified Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania.

Winners go to WrestleMania XXIV

Morrison & R-Truth vs. The Hart Dynasty vs. Cryme Tyme

The match begins and it’s Shad against John Morrison. Shad points to the WrestleMania sign. Morrison punches and goes for a whip but Shad doesn’t budge. Shad goes for a powerslam but Morrison slides off. Shad runs into some boots. Morrison goes for a springboard cross-body but Shad catches him and slams him down for a near fall.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from the break to see Morrison locked in a headlock applied by JTG. During the break Shad slammed JTG on him. Shad is tagged back in and they double team Morrison. JTG is tagged in. He goes into the ropes and Tyson Kidd blind tags. David Hart Smith is tagged and he pummels Morrison. Smith hits a trio of belly to belly suplexes. I love that and it gets a near fall. Smith kicks Morrison in the midsection. Smith picks him up and goes for a suplex but Morrison lands on his feet. They both run and clunk heads.

Kidd is tagged in and he knocks Cryme Tyme off the apron. R-Truth is tagged in and he hits a pair of clotheslines on Kidd. Kidd reverses a whip but R-Truth slingshots over, splits under a clothesline, and hits a jumping heel kick for a near fall broken up by Smith. Smith and Shad fight until Morrison sacrifices himself to send them over the top rope. JTG tries to attack R-Truth but it fails. R-Truth turns into a springboard dropkick from Kidd for a near fall. Kidd punches and sends R-Truth into the ropes. R-Truth ducks a clothesline and hits the Lie Detector for the win.

Winners by Pinfall: John Morrison & R-Truth

Match Rating: * ¼

John Morrison and R-Truth will take on Big Show and The Miz for the Unified Tag Team Titles. They break dance in the ring to celebrate.

-Commercial Break-

Todd Grisham thanks Kevin Rudolf for the use of the song “I Made It,” one of WrestleMania’s official theme songs.

Simply Flawless is thanking Vickie Guerrero for helping last week. They give her their t-shirt. Beth Phoenix walks up and Simply Flawless leaves. Beth asks when she’ll get a shot at the Women’s Title. Beth says she’s just asking for what she deserves. Vickie says she’s not the only one with beauty and brains. Vickie says she won’t get her shot unless she says so. Beth tells her not to cross her and Vickie says she’s not intimidated.

Todd Grisham and Matt Striker go over the awesome WrestleMania card. I just can’t wait.

Big Show’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He’ll face Edge in the main event next.

-Commercial Break-

Big Show vs. Edge

The match begins and Edge ducks a lock up. Edge punches but Big Show quickly head-butts him down. Show chokes him on the second rope before hitting a body shot in the corner. Show strangles him with his boot until the referee makes him back up. Big Show pulls him back to the apron from the floor but Edge counters with a hot shot. Edge runs into a shoulder block. Show chops the chest and chokes him with the boot again. Big Show talks trash before pulling him out of the ring. Big Show goes to throw Edge into the ring post but Edge slides off and pushes him into the post.

Edge punches away at Show until he punches back. Show hits a body slam and chokes him on the rope. Show hits a body punch and another head-butt. Edge tries to punch back but Show simply clubs him down. Big Show locks on a chin lock. Edge fights up and gets out with a jawbreaker. Edge punches away until Show knees him and hits a nasty body slam. Big Show goes for the Vader Bomb but misses.

Big Show runs into a boot. Edge goes for a tornado DDT but Big Show pushes him off. Edge eventually hits a second rope bulldog for a near fall. Big Show throws him off, countering an Edge-O-Matic. Big Show goes for a Chokeslam but Edge counters into a DDT. Edge hits a Spear and mercifully it’s all over.

Winner by Pinfall: Edge

Mike’s Thoughts

This wasn’t a bad episode of Smackdown. I was expecting a little more since we are building toward WrestleMania but that’s ok. I was a little surprised that they didn’t give Chris Jericho some kind of upper hand heading into WrestleMania. In fact he was only on the show thirty seconds. They’re really not doing much to give you any doubt that Edge will win it. It’s pretty certain that Jericho is just holding the title for Edge but they could make him look a little stronger. He truly is the best in the world at what he does and he deserves a little better.

I really enjoyed the Mysterio-Gallows match tonight. Luke Gallows really surprised me with his work rate. It was very impressive. He’s another Mike Knox type big guy… except they’re actually doing something with him. The Mysterio-S.E.S. feud is going well and I expect a match to be made for WrestleMania next week between them. That would be awesome.

I was very surprised to see John Morrison and R-Truth qualify for the tag team titles. I can’t believe they’re not doing anything with the Hart Dynasty at WrestleMania, considering that Uncle Bret is on the show. I was also surprised to see Matt Hardy pick up the win over Drew McIntyre. One week he’s tagging with Great Khali and seems to be lost in Superstars purgatory and the next he’s beating the undefeated Drew McIntyre to get on WrestleMania. I wonder what they’ll do with Drew at WrestleMania then.

My big question is where was Charles Robinson tonight??

WWE Hall Of Fame Next Year To Have WCW Theme???

While plans can always change, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the working theme for next year's WWE Hall of Fame in 2011 is to have a WCW theme since they will be in Atlanta. There is already talk about inducting Sting (if he is available and not with TNA), Lex Luger, Ron Simmons, The Road Warriors and The Steiner Brothers.

RVD Comments On TNA Rumors!

RVD said the following on Twitter;

"Officially guys, no, I haven't signed anything officially. However, the talks have been very, very good lately. I'm sure I will be speaking to them a lot more today as well. I'd say there is a pretty good probability that you should tune in Monday night on Spike. Officially as of now, although rumors are everywhere that I have signed, it is not official at this moment."

Another McMahon On Their Way!

Someone asked Linda McMahon on Twitter if Stephanie is pregnant again. Here is Linda's reply:

"yes it's true and the family is very excited."

Desmond Wolfe On Daniel Bryan In WWE!

Wolfe said the following during an interview with Fan House;

"I think he'll be tremendously successful. The thing with Bryan is that everybody says he's the best wrestler in the world, and you know I think I'd be hard-pressed to find someone who I'd say is better. It's difficult, isn't it? A lot of people with a lot of talent go in to WWE, and some of them for whatever reason get lost in the cracks and don't make it to the level of success that you think they would. But I think Dragon has always over-succeeded in his life, and by that I don't mean that he's not as good as people say he is. He's every bit as good as he says. But when you look at him, and a lot of people will say this, but when you look at him, you don't think he's ... you know, he's not predestined to be a fantastic professional wrestler. He doesn't necessarily have the look, he doesn't necessarily have the athletic ability, but he's worked so hard."

Goldburg Puts An End To TNA Rumors!

Goldburg said the following during a recent interview;

"Pardon my French, but Hulk Hogan's full of crap because I was never in negotiations with TNA. Do I see myself getting back in the wrestling ring? I'm 43 years old. Do I want to be Ric Flair? Do I want to be Hulk Hogan? In the twilight of my life, do I want to be running around in my underwear trying to injure people? Absolutely not. (Wrestling) was a stage in my life, a wonderful stage. Do I ever see it happening again? You never say never, but I don't see it likely by any stretch of the imagination. I'm putting together chicken nuggets that are shaped like dinosaurs for my kid and I'm watching 'SpongeBob' as opposed to sitting up at the gym, thinking about myself. I've just kind of moved on, and I don't see it happening."

TNA To Debut New Theme Music!

During this week's post-game show for TNA Impact, Jeremy Borash stated that TNA would be debuting a new theme this Monday night on Spike TV.

TNA To Make company Name Change???

In regards to some talks that TNA was looking at a name change when Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were brought in (a discussion that has been on and off the last few years), The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that when Frank Dickerson was first brought into the company that he also wanted a name change. Eventually a decision was made all the way back in 2005 when they debuted on Spike to keep the name since, in their eyes, it was already established in wrestling. Vince Russo originally came up with th ename when the company wanted to be as risque as possible. Dixie Carter is said to be very loyal to the TNA brand name.

*First we get the four sided ring and now a possible name change???  What are they going to change it to, WCW 2.0???

WWE Superstars Report!

The following report is from Wrestleview;

WWE Superstars

March 4, 2010

Oklahoma City, OK/Wichita, KS

Report by: Mike Tedesco of WrestleView.com

This will be my last Superstars recap as I’ll be moving over to NXT next week. My replacement will be announced Saturday so if you’re still interested please e-mail me with a sample recap. WrestleView.com is an awesome site to work for and openings don’t come around too often.

We’re invincible tonight as the Superstars video plays. We’re brought into the arena with some fireworks to get the crowd pumped up. Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler welcome us to the show.

Kofi Kingston vs. Chavo Guerrero

Mr. V’s favorite, The Goose, is the official. The match begins and they circle the ring. Chavo goes for a takedown but Kingston blocks it. Chavo eventually gets a snapmare before locking on a chin lock. Kingston gets out with a hammerlock so Chavo twists out of it. Chavo locks on a side headlock. Kingston fights up and whips Chavo off. Kingston takes a shoulder block. Chavo goes to pick him up but Kingston kicks him away. Chavo goes into the ropes and gets hit with a back elbow. The bouncing ring causes them to clunk heads as Kingston gets a near fall.

Kingston gets an arm bar on but Chavo gets up and gets out with a club. Chavo hits a European uppercut. The Goose then steps in and stops the match due to Chavo bleeding from the eye. Chavo gets cleaned up before sneak attacking Kingston. Chavo clubs him down before Kingston rolls him up with a leg scissors for a two count. Kingston hits a dropkick before jumping into Chavo’s face in the corner. Kingston punches before rolling off. Chavo then explodes out of the corner with a rolling wheel kick for a near fall.

Chavo chokes Kingston on the bottom rope. Chavo then twists the arm around the rope and pulls. Chavo hits an uppercut for a near fall. Chavo locks on an arm bar and has control of the match. Kingston fights up and tries to elbow out but Chavo instead just throws him out of the ring. Chavo then hits a plancha over the top rope before throwing Kingston back in. Chavo hits a slingshot senton for a near fall. Chavo locks the hammerlock on before Kingston gets out with a snapmare that sends Chavo out of the ring. Kingston then takes him out with a suicide dive!

Kingston throws him back in the ring and goes up top. Chavo cuts him off and goes for a superplex but Kingston punches him off. Kingston then hits a nice cross-body block for a one count. Kingston hits some chops and a dropkick. Kingston hits a big forearm before hitting the Boom Drop. Kingston has him where he wants him but Chavo goes to the apron. Chavo then hits a nice half Boston Crab but Kingston quickly gets to the ropes. Chavo backs up and ducks a Trouble in Paradise. If at first you don’t succeed, try again. Kingston does and hits Trouble in Paradise for the win!

Winner by Pinfall: Kofi Kingston

Match Rating: ** (An extra ¼ for the blood!)

Our Main Event will see the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho take on Goldust in a non-title match.

-Commercial Break-

William Regal is in the ring as we come back from commercial. He’ll take on the high flying Evan Bourne.

William Regal vs. Evan Bourne

The match begins and they lock up. Regal gets a wrist lock and doesn’t let up. Bourne tries to get out and goes for a head-scissors but Regal slams him off. Regal keeps the wrist lock on. Bourne flips out and hits a monkey flip. Bourne hits an explosive hurricanrana and a nice dropkick. Bourne gets a side headlock on and keeps it tight. Regal sends him to the turnbuckle and hits a forearm to the face. Regal sends him to the ropes and hits a back elbow. Regal hits a double arm suplex for a two count. Regal locks on a Cobra Clutch (maggots). Bourne gets out with an arm wrench but Regal takes him down with a left hand.

Regal talks trash to the crowd. Regal hits a pair of uppercuts and kick to the face for a two count. Regal locks a chin lock on and really twists him. Regal keeps it on for a while before Bourne fights up. Bourne ducks a clothesline and kicks Regal hard in the back. Regal hits a quick t-bone suplex. Regal goes for the Knee Trembler but Bourne avoids it and hits a knee to the face. Bourne hits Air Bourne and it’s over.

Winner by Pinfall: Evan Bourne

Match Rating: *

Did you know that last Thursday, WWE Superstars was watched by more people than College Basketball on ESPN?

Mike Knox is in the ring. This guy is too talented to be squashed and get no TV entrance. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us back to the show.

Mike Knox vs. Kane

The match begins and they lock up. Knox backs him to the corner and kicks him. Knox hits some punches before the ref admonishes him. Kane hits some uppercuts before a snapmare and a low dropkick to the face. That gets Kane a two count. Knox ducks a clothesline and hits a Flying Cross-body for a near fall. That’s such a great move. Knox shoulders Kane in the corner and punches him. Knox sends him to the ropes but lowers his head and eats a kick. Kane then hits a big boot.

Kane sends Knox to the corner and hits a clothesline. Kane then hits a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Kane goes to the top rope and but Knox big boots him off. Kane is down on the apron and rolls in to get kneed in the throat. Knox sends him to the corner before running into a Chokeslam for the loss.

Winner by Pinfall: Kane

Match Rating: *

Later tonight we’ll see Goldust take on Chris Jericho in a non-title match.

-Commercial Break-

A promo for the Straight Edge Society airs and it’s like the old school nWo promos. It mentions that the following advertisement has been paid for by S.E.S. This is a totally awesome hype video!

The Raw Rebound plays and then they run down the WrestleMania card. I love the way WrestleMania looks this year.

The World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. He’ll face Goldust next.

-Commercial Break-

WrestleMania is 24 days away! Awesome!

Chris Jericho vs. Goldust

The match begins and Jericho looks like he wants nothing to do with him. They lock up and Goldust does his taunt. Jericho is disturbed and gets out of the ring. Jericho gets back in and they lock up. Jericho gets a side headlock on before Goldust whips him off. Jericho hits a shoulder block and taunts the crowd. Goldust kicks and sends him to the ropes. Jericho reverses it but takes a butt bump. Goldust then clotheslines him over the top rope.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from the break to see Goldust run into an empty corner. Jericho hits an enzuigiri for a near fall. Jericho stomps him before punching him in the head. Jericho chokes him on the ropes before doing the Hulk Hogan taunt brother. Jericho punches him in the corner and stomps him. Jericho then hits a guillotine catapult and Goldust falls to the outside. Jericho gets on the ropes to mess with Goldust. Goldust gets in and gets an inside cradle for a two count. Jericho quickly pops up and hits a clothesline.

Jericho smashes his face off the corner and puts him up top. Jericho goes for a superplex but Goldust punches him off. Goldust jumps right into a dropkick and Jericho nearly gets the win. Jericho argues with the ref about that. Jericho locks on a chin lock but Goldust fights it. Jericho runs into a pair of clotheslines. Jericho reverses a whip but lowers his head and takes an uppercut. Goldust hits an inverted atomic drop but misses a bulldog. Jericho hits one of his own before taunting. Jericho misses a Lionsault but lands on his feet and runs into a powerslam for a near fall. Goldust goes for the Curtain Call but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho for the submission victory!

Winner by Submission: Chris Jericho

Match Rating: * ½

Mike’s Thoughts

Well that wasn’t the greatest Superstars to end my run with. The show was just one hour of no doubters. Did you honestly ever think the guys who lost ever had a chance? Two of them didn’t even get entrances. I have only two thoughts. One – that must have been a tough twenty-four hours for Regal. He takes the Shooting Star Press on Monday from Bourne and then the 450 Splash on Tuesday. Ouch! My second thought is Jericho should not be wrestling on Superstars. He should be winning matches on Smackdown so he doesn’t look like a chump transitional champion. He is a transitional champion but they could do more to make him look stronger on Smackdown. That’s it – I had a great time recapping Superstars. Keep following me on Smackdown and be sure to check out NXT!

Final Rating: * ¾

TNA IMPACT Report!

The following report is from PW Torch;

By: Daniel Wilkenfeld, PWTorch Contributor

I'm running late again, so let's get right into:

The Show: Never Say Never

Not surprisingly, we start with a package hyping the tag match booked for Monday.

[Intro]

Let's start things off at the top, with the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Ric Flair, and some women strutting down to the ring. Ric Flair starts things off by calling AJ the man. They've had a week to think about what happened with Hulk Hogan last week. He knows Hulk is in the building, and he wants him to come down so he and AJ can apologize for their conduct last week. They want to give him a present—to give back to Hulk Hogan and TNA. Hogan comes down to the ring, accompanied by Abyss. Ric Flair wants to know if he can assume that this'll be a peaceful conversation, and Hogan seems to calm Abyss down a bit. As a result of their bad conduct last week they're going to set him up and fill him full of rocket fuel—he can have one, two, three, or all four of the women with them (I think they're a little old for him). Abyss, however, gets none. Hogan says that he's not here to bum a cigarette, share a drink, or borrow one of Ric Flair's hits of Viagra. Hogan When he came to this company he promised everyone that he wouldn't lace up his boots, but the way Ric Flair and AJ Styles have been acting has changed everything. On March 8th, he and Abyss will be taking Flair and AJ to school. There's only one thing he has to ask these jabronies—what you gonna do...(he hands the mic to Abyss)...when Hogan and Abyssamania run wild on you? Flair reminds us that he retired on top two years ago, but says that he's willing to wrestle again for the sake of doing the one thing he's never done—beat Hulk Hogan on national television. AJ acknowledges that when Hogan was wrestling he was king, but things have changed. AJ's the champ now—he's concerned about Hogan risking his good name on live TV. He compliments Hulk's bling, suggests Hulk think again about the match, and then proposes he and Flair leave. Bischoff's music hits. He says that before they leave, AJ has some business tonight. AJ will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship Match in a Four Corners Match against Abyss, Desmond Wolfe, and (I'm pretty sure he said) The Pope. Are they really giving away Pope vs. AJ a month and a half early?

JB is in the back with Wolfe and Chelsea. Wolfe wants to know if JB has ever found a fiver in his pocket—he believes it's called "serendipity". The Sound of Music claims that when a door is closed, a window is opened—well that's bullocks. When someone closes a door on Wolfe he kicks it down, beats up whoever closed it, goes upstairs, yells at the bird and tells him to close the window cause it's getting a little chilly. AJ Styles has become a model champion, but, despite what Flair says, Wolfe can become the man without beating the man—he can pin Abyss or Dinero. Chelsea says that she wants the Hall of Fame Ring Abyss is wearing, and Wolfe says that he'll make that happen, because what Chelsea wants, Chelsea gets.

[Commercial Break]

Bischoff is on the phone, discussing starting a professional football league that'll compete with the NFL, but that's just crazy. Jeff Jarrett comes in, and Bischoff says that he has to talk to the chef. Jarrett agrees that the chef is here, and that the rumor going around the locker room was that last week saw some of the best burgers ever served in catering. Bischoff comments that Jarrett doesn't seem to mind, and Jarrett agrees that whatever Eric throws at him he'll still be there. He suggests that they go back to the business of professional wrestling to get things flowing. Bischoff's glad Jarrett wants to get things flowing, since they've gotten really clogged—he hands Jarrett a plunger and tells him to be the janitor. Jarrett says that he's been here since day one and seen all the TNA janitors, but Bischoff is looking at the best right now. Poor Kip James.

That was an oddly compelling segment I thought.

(1)THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS vs. GENERATION ME vs. BEER MONEY INC. vs. HERNANDEZ & MATT MORGAN

Non-Title Match

Sabin starts things off with a wrist lock on Jeremy. Jeremy flips out and gets one of his own, but Sabin flips out of that and reapplies the hold. He makes the tag to Shelley, then holds Jeremy down for the front-face-lock-dropkick. Jeremy gets enough distance to reach Max, who, in a fair silly move, Moonsaults onto Shelley's wrist, then tags back in Jeremy. Sabin tags in. He looks for a seesaw kick, but Jeremy cuts him off with a Backstabber and tags in Sabin for a Senton Splash against the ropes for two. Sabin rolls over into the corner, where Hernandez tags himself in. Max tries to come in off the top rope, but Hernandez catches him with a nice Press Slam. Hernandez goes to the outside for his slingshot shoulder block, but Matt Morgan tags himself in. He goozles Max. Jeremy tries to interfere with a double sledge, but Morgan catches him by the throat too. James Storm tries to run in, but Morgan kicks him down and nails the Double Choke Slam. Morgan takes a moment to jaw at Hernandez, claiming that he's showing him how it's done, but that only gives Max time to roll into Beer Money's corner. Storm floors Morgan with a Last Call Super Kick as Roode comes in for a School Boy and the win.

WINNERS: Beer Money Inc. in four minutes.

Sean Morley and Slick Johnson are in Bischoff's office. Bischoff's been pushing Jarrett, but he just doesn't seem ready to break. So since Jarrett wants to get back to wrestling, Bischoff has booked him in a match tonight against Morley. He forgot to tell Jarrett, but that's no matter. It's No DQ and falls count anywhere, and Bischoff believes Jarrett can be found in the men's room. He suggests Morley go finish the job, and Morley seems happy to oblige.

[Commercial Break]

Kurt Angle is in Hulk Hogan's office. Kurt says that he has a little problem, and suggests that Hulk let Kurt take care of Flair and AJ Monday night. Since Hulk arrived he's been a huge boon to this company—just look at what he's done for Abyss. Hulk's too important to risk out there against AJ; he should stay in the back doing his job, and let Kurt do his out there in the ring. Hulk says that this is his last chance, and he has to know that he's can get by these guys. Kurt respects that, so they shake hands.

We cut to Mick in etiquette school. His coach asks him to help with her coat, and he tries to button it. She suggests that he take it off, and he's surprised, since no woman has ever asked him to take her clothes off. She wants to know what image he's going for, since if it's scary then he's got it down. Mick says that he's going for "vinatge hardcore legend". She wants to see his walk, so he busts out a Jarrett strut. She suggests he button his jacket when he walks and unbuttons it when he sits down—Mick thinks it would be more efficient to just leave it unbuttoned. She also wants to do something about his hair, but he's afraid that if he cuts it people will see that he really has gentle eyes. They discuss a tailor for his suit, which I don't get, since they made a big deal that it was custom made.

Sean Morley and Slick Johnson are entering a men's room backstage. Morley tells Slick to ring the bell, and after some discussion Johnson makes a ringing noise.

(2)SEAN MORLEY vs. JEFF JARRETT

No DQ Falls-Count-Anywhere Match

Morley enters the bathroom and cheap shots Jarrett, then tosses him against the walls and stalls. Morley focuses on the left shoulder, then makes a cover for two. Jarrett asks what the hell Slick is doing, so Johnson tells him that it's a match. Morley "lands" a kick to the temple that clearly whiffs by maybe six inches. Morley places Jarrett's left arm in the door frame and slams the door on it a bunch of times. He slams Jarrett against the wall one more time and makes an oddly sexual cover for three.

WINNER: Sean Morley in just over two minutes.

Christy Hemme is in the back with "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero. She recaps his winning the tournament three weeks ago and the attack by AJ and Flair two weeks ago. Pope says that she knows how it is though—when you roll with The Pope, you might start out on top, but he always ends up there. Flair and Arthur "I have no class" Styles tried to put him down like an old mule, but he's back. They can't be too happy about that—Pope's doctor isn't either. She mentions the match tonight. He had some big plans for Lockdown, but why wait for tomorrow what you can take care of today? Pope suggests that if that big-nosed Flair gets involved Pope'll reach all the way back to the 1980's for a very special pimp slap. Pope has spoken.

[Commercial Break]

We recap the triumphs and trials of Rob Terry and The British Invasion. This wasn't worth the time in the first run, much less in recap form.

(3)DOUG WILLIAMS vs. ROB TERRY

Non-Title Match

There's no way they let Williams win here, is there? Williams slaps Terry to start, so Terry shoves him down. He takes Williams up for a Press Slam, then locks in a bear hug. Williams bites his way out, lands a headbutt to the mid-section, and then...gets taken down by a leg lariat from Terry? Where the hell did that come from? Terry looks for his Running Power Slam. Williams slips out the back and goes for The Rolling Chaos Theory, but Rob Terry blocks it and connects with a Choke Slam for the win.

WINNER: Rob Terry in a minute and change. Yes, the X Division Champion just lost to Steroids McSteroidson in a minute—admittedly that leg lariat was impressive.

After the match, Brutus Magnus runs in and pops Rob Terry from behind. He has Williams hold Terry while he administers a beat-down.

Jeff Jarrett is being seen to in the back. Bischoff takes the place of the medic and yanks Jarrett's arm. That can't be good for TNA's liability insurance. Jarrett wants to know what the hell Bischoff is up to. Bischoff says that Jarrett wanted a match, so he gave it to him. Jarrett says that there wasn't a ring for 100 yards, and he didn't want a match in the bathroom. Bischoff says that for someone who agreed to start at the bottom Jarrett's being awfully demanding. If he wants a match in the ring though, he can have one—Bischoff just hopes he's a fast healer, cause that match will be later tonight.

Mr. Anderson is walking around in the back, with a fake medal and something that says "loser".

[Commercial Break]

Mick Foley balances a book on his head, but his coach wants him to walk loosely with it on. He says that his book, Countdown to Lockdown, is coming out in September 2010. She only reads classics, but there will be plenty classic about his new book. He sits down, but she wants him to get back up and try the jacket unbuttoning again. After all those years of dropping elbows he needs her help to get up. She then wants him to help her out with her chair, but she needs to help him up yet again. She explains that they'll practice a "B & D—bread and drink"--set up. Mick suggests he get two drinks, since every guy likes double Ds. She shows him how to eat soup using a rhyme--"out to sea and back to me"--but he suggests instead that "to be done quick, eat like Mick."

We recap Anderson--Angle.

Angle's music hits, and Anderson comes out—apparently it's actually a cookie sheet around a chain that has "loser" written on it. He's also sporting a bald-cap and a gaudy medal. He says that he is the greatest wrestler in the world today—oh it's real, it's damn real. Most of us know that he's also the most injury-prone wrestler in the world today—in fact he thinks he's just broken his neck for the seventeenth time again. One time he broke his neck while tying his shoe, one time while walking his dog, and one time he pushed too hard when taking a dump he broke his freak'n neck. One time while he was drinking a Yoohoo, and then one time in band camp...but enough about that. We have some serious things to talk about. He addresses Mr. Anderson, that son-of-a-bitch, for cutting him up with that thing around his neck. By the way, we should know that he doesn't give a damn about the soldiers in Iraq—it's just a ploy to get our cheers and to make us think that he's a real swell guy. Angle storms down to the ring. Anderson tries to cut him off as he enters the ring, but Angle fights through with clotheslines. Anderson rolls out of the ring. When Angle follows him, he gets a face full of beer from some random cup. Anderson beats him back into the ring, drops his straps, and hits an Olympic Slam. He takes the Warrior medal off Angle's neck and puts it around his own.

[Commercial Break]

Abyss finds Hulk Hogan in the hall backstage. He's not very proud of this, but he didn't have a very good childhood and wasn't raised very well. Hogan tells him that he doesn't have to go there, but Abyss wants to get something off his chest. His mother didn't want him to watch television, but he always found a way to get to that 8 x 8 black and white TV to watch Hulk Hogan. Abyss begged to see him, and then one day she got him a ticket to see him in the Richfield Colosseum in Cleveland, Ohio. Hey, I remember that place! Actually it was midway between Cleveland and Akron, but close enough. Anyhow, Abyss watched Hogan get the sold out arena to his feet. But now Abyss has the ring, so he has the Hulkamaniac power, and he can handle things on his own. Hogan asks if Abyss would ever leave him or push him aside? Abyss says that of course he wouldn't. Hogan says that he and Abyss are one. Wait, what? They share the same blood, and they're family. Now that Abyss has that ring, he does have the power, and Hulk knows Abyss will protect him. Fans around the world believe in Abyss, and they know that with the goodness inside him Abyss will protect him. When Flair and AJ come at them with all the hate in the world they'll fight them off. Hogan says that he loves Abyss, and Abyss reciprocates. That segment was really, really weird—I don't think I liked it. It seemed to detract from Abyss's monster-ness.

We recap Angelina Love--The Beautiful People.

Earlier tonight: Angelina Love is in a photo shoot when Madison Rayne and Lacey Von Erich attack. Von Erich holds Loves arms through the barricade as Velvet Sky pelts her with some belt. Von Erich thinks she's had enough, but Sky says that it's not enough till she says it in. She lands a few more lashes, then storms off. Von Erich and Rayne seem a little shocked, and possibly scared.

[Commercial Break]

Angelina Love comes down to the ring and gets a mic. She addresses Velvet Sky, calling her a b@#ch. Love tells her to come out now, and that she's not leaving till she does. I'm not sure why that would bother Sky, but apparently it does, since she comes down the ramp, belt in hand. Love comes up after her, takes her down, and slams her into the side of the ramp. She slams Sky into the steel guard rail, the ramp, and the guard rail again. She lays in with the belt a few times, then takes Sky into the ring. She connects with a bicycle kick, then grabs the belt again. Rayne and Von Erich come down to the ring, but Love's ready for them. She connects with the belt to Rayne, but is no match for the Ugly Stick. Von Erich and Rayne hold Love down as Sky lays in with the belt again a few times. The Beautiful People celebrate in the ring.

Bubba The Love Sponge approaches Hogan in his office. He says that the problem is that no one will tell Hogan the truth. He was the best man at Bubba's wedding, the godfather of his children, and Bubba was with him during his surgeries. Hogan was brought in for his mind, not his wrestling. Hogan says that Bubba bounced back from his hard times, but he still hasn't. The only thing that never left him was wrestling, so he has to do this. Bubba points out that Hulk (he's now calling him Terry) still has him, Nick, Brooke, and Jenny (I think that was her name). Those people love him because he can walk (that seems harsh). He promised them he wouldn't wrestle again, and so he should think long and hard about what's really important before he gets back in that ring.

[Commercial Break]

Mick's etiquette coach thinks that "Mr. bee-SHOFF" will be pleased, so they practice a handshake. She wants to know how he says goodbye to a woman. He says that most guys he knows just sneak out the back. She suggests he say goodbye, and then he says that he knows the rest. He gives her a big hug. That was not what she had in mind.

We recap Nash & Young—Scott Hall & Syxx-Pac. Nash and Young will have comments on Monday

(4)TOMKO vs. JEFF JARRETT

Jarrett lost his music and pyro again. Tomko starts things off with a side headlock. Jarrett shoots him off, but Tomko comes back with a shoulder block and starts working Jarrett's injured left arm. Jarrett fires back with right hands. Tomko tosses him into a corner, whiffs on a charge, but then connects with a back elbow when Jarrett tries to take advantage. Tomko goes to climb the top rope, but Jarrett is up, so he works Jarrett's arm against the ropes. Jarrett fires back, so Tomko drops to the floor, wrenching Jarrett's arm. Jarrett nails an Ensuguri as Tomko gets into the ring, stomps him against a rope, but then walks right into a Decapitator Clothesline. Tomko makes a couple of covers for two, then stomps down on Jarrett's shoulder. Tomko cinches in a key lock, so Jarrett gets a leg in the ropes. Tomko stomps the arm again and then connects with an arm bar takedown for two. Tomko works another key lock variant, but Jarrett fights him off. Tomko takes him up for a Power Slam but Jarrett reverses it into a DDT. Jarrett goes to the corner for some mounted punches, but Tomko takes him back down with an Inverted Atomic Drop. Tomko charges, but Jarrett pulls himself up by the ropes over him, then rolls him up for three.

WINNER: Jeff Jarrett in five minutes. I could be wrong, but it sounded like a non-trivial portion of the crowd was booing the Jarrett win.

[Commercial Break]

Bischoff joins the parade of people trying to convince Hogan not to fight Monday. He says that the Hogan brand is what's making everything possible, and without it he's not sure anyone can pull things off. Hogan points out that if he doesn't do it, then it's not clear what the Hogan brand is. Hogan says that when they came to this company they agreed that they'd go up and down together, but this is a different thing. Hogan's been called out, and if he doesn't do it then there is no tomorrow. Hogan put that ring on Abyss, so when they punked Abyss out they punked him out too. He reminds Bischoff of his promise to back up Hogan no matter what, and Bischoff says that he will. They shake hands, and Hogan mutters that he's sick of talking about this.

(5)AJ STYLES (c) (w/RIC FLAIR) vs. DESMOND WOLFE (w/CHELSEA) vs. ABYSS vs. "THE POPE" D'ANGELO DINERO

Four-Corners TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match

The Pope limps to the ring. The crowd has his back as he starts things off against AJ. AJ chops him, so Pope shoulder blocks him back. AJ picks a leg, but Pope fights off the attempted Figure Four. Abyss tags out Pope, and AJ falls back away scared. Wolfe tags out AJ—he tries to get Abyss with a Sunset Flip, but Abyss lands on him. Abyss goozles him for a Choke Slam. AJ tries to interfere, so Abyss catches him too. They kick Abyss in the gut, but he takes them both down with a double clothesline. He floors Wolfe with a side slam, but AJ breaks up the cover at two. Pope reenters the ring and helps Abyss clothesline AJ and Wolfe out of it.

[Commercial Break]

Abyss and Wolfe are fighting on the outside and AJ rolls Pope into the ring as we get back. Wolfe ducks a clothesline on the outside and Abyss eats ring post. Pope ducks a right hand in the ring and connects with a series of strikes. Flair grabs Pope's leg, and when Pope turns around AJ clips his leg. AJ distracts the ref as Flair takes a chair and beats the holy hell out of Pope's ankle. Flair tosses the chair away, so AJ comes over and cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock. Pope refuses to tap, but the ref calls for the bell anyway to prevent injury.

WINNER: AJ Styles by referee's decision in 7 minutes.

After the match, Wolfe comes into the ring and seems confused and annoyed. He decides to join in on stomping The Pope though. Abyss comes into the ring and takes down AJ and Wolfe. Meanwhile, Flair grabs a barbed wire bat out from under the ring, with which he whacks Abyss from behind. Wolfe helps hold Abyss down as Flair hits some more shots. Hogan saunters to the ring. Flair tries to get him with the bat, but Hogan gets it away from him and whacks him in the chest. Somehow that busts open Flair's face, and he's bleeding as Wolfe and AJ roll out of the ring. Hogan lays in with right hands to Flair's bloody face until security guards start storming the ring. Hogan starts popping them, and Abyss comes over to help. AJ takes advantage of the distraction to pull Flair out of the ring.

[Commercial Break]

We come back at 10:59. Hogan has a mic, and Flair has a crimson mask. Hogan says that this is just a sample of what's gonna happen Monday—blood will flow like water, till no one knows who Flair is. AJ Styles will be history. Pope doesn't want to wait till Monday—he wants to do things right now. Flair, however, backs out of the Impact Zone.

Where We're Going: We're cruising to the epic Hogan-Flair confrontation. After a week, the shine from that has sort of worn off, and devoting this whole bloody episode to how old and decrepit Hogan is was not quite the sale TNA seemed to think it was. I'm already sick of him as an active wrestler, and he hasn't even stepped back into the ring yet. Anderson—Angle was back on the right track, with Anderson mocking Angle's invoking of the troops rather than the troops themselves. Aside from that and the more obvious appearance of a Wolfe/Flair alliance that was subtle enough last week that I thought I was imagining it, I'd be hard pressed to find much forward progress tonight towards much of anything.

Star of the Night: Mr. Anderson. He managed to harken back to two weeks ago when he managed to further his feud with our Olympic hero without saying things that were actively confusing or out of character.

Overall: This show had a few distinct positives. First, there were no Nasty Boys. Anderson—Angle progressed nicely, as did Love—Sky, though the latter might have gotten more time than it really merited. The main event was decent—I don't remember TNA busting out the referee's decision thing too often (I'm not counting what seemed to be a botched finish of Joe vs. Lashley at Bound for Glory), so that was a good way to further AJ's feud with The Pope without giving us a complete screw-job ending. Even that was a bit tainted though by the fact that we were given essentially no indication of what was transpiring with the other two competitors while AJ held Pope in a long Figure Four, and by the fact that half the match took place during commercial. Finally, the Jarrett and Foley segments were more entertaining than they had any business being. Nevertheless, this show never really got any momentum going. There seemed to be an oddly large number of recap packages, a continued complete disrespect for the X Division Champion (though, in all fairness, that was probably mitigated by the fact that half the audience has probably forgotten that Doug Williams is the X Division Champion), and, most problematically, all Hogan, all the time. Maybe the attempts to sell the audience on the drama revolving around Hogan's return to the ring clicked with others, but for me they just fell flat. I don't care—in fact, I would actively prefer he not be an active competitor. Moreover, I don't totally get his motivation here; contrary to what he said, AJ and Flair didn't call him out—he first through in his name as a possible combatant himself. C

*IMPACT ended up getting a 1.1 cable rating!  Keeps sliding.  What has Hogan contributed to the ratings???  Hopefully things will change come Monday!
