In a business such as pro wrestling, it is hard to be shocked or surprised by anything. But on one weekend in June of 2007 the wrestling world collectively dropped to it's knees in awe. The bodies of wrestling superstar Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their 7 year old son Daniel were found in their suburban Georgia home. The information that would come out regarding their untimely passing would be some of the most shocking in recent memory.

RF Video proudly presents Chris Benoit: The Aftermath. Hear first hand the reaction from the wrestling superstars that knew both Chris Benoit and Nancy. Legendary names in pro wrestling weigh in on the issues that arouse following the tragedies and  all of the events that took place.

great for the wrestlers opinions on all of this
Michael (Malverne, NY) 7/27/2010 2:17 PM
This dvd is pretty much what you expect and it's mostly all of the wrestlers commenting on the same thing and the same theory they all have as to what really happened which is fine. Who knows what's true and what's not but this dvd is an interesting look at the whole thing and how it has took it's toll on the wrestling industry even though the wrestling industry doesn't want to talk about it. In my opinion, if this would have all happened with Hulk Hogan or John Cena, the reaction to it would all be different. Chris Benoit was just one of those guys that was caught in the middle and was not trying to get on the fans side or to be a heel. I think some of the wrestlers are just being hard on him because they didn't really know him personally like other people on this dvd did. New Jack is one of my favorite gimmicks but he just came off as having no credibility here. Other wrestlers like Gary Wolfe and Gene Snitsky don't think this is all true and I don't blame them because no one really has a perfect answer as to why this happened. The last interview of this dvd with Billy Jack Haynes is just ridiculous. There were some typos and editing mistakes and it wasn't as long as the other shoots. Overall, nothing major to complain about. This is a good dvd with not a lot of suprises but will definitly get you thinking different about all of this.

Eh

To be honest I'd say pass on this one. Mostly you'll hear just about everyone saying the same exact theory, there isn't too much insight into anything. The only ones who really differ from the norm is Honky Tonk Man and New Jack. The editing in the beginning is done well but throughout it there are a lot of typos.

Okay, not great
Kris (Galloway, NJ) 6/27/2010 1:34 AM
This is okay, not great. You basically hear a lot of the same things over again, with only one or two guys actually giving interesting revelations on the matter. The opening which combines a background of the situation along with a Chris Benoit match was done very well. Also, there are a lot of on-screen typos and misspellings.
