this legend lets it all out in this interview! one of the best talkers ever! he covers his tenure in nwa and wwf in great detial! he paved the way for other wrestlers to crossover to movies, because his first movie was body slam with dirk benedict and captain lou albano! the dog collar match with greg valentine is legendary and the details on how it came about are fascinating and his matches with flair are praised well. of course his wwf career is what does it for me, on how piper's pit came about, the coconut angle with snuka and how he was lied to on doing it, he goes into detail on his legitimate rivalry with hogan in and out of the ring and how jealous he was of hogan, his real hatred of mr.t in and out of the ring and how the feeling was mutual, his angles with adrian adonis and bad news brown, when he made himself half-black, that was memorable his match with bret hart at mania was well discussed. how he also hated being at wcw because of the politics and his problems with hall and nash, you see him break down when he talks about his friends that have passed away such as mr. perfect, rick rude and so on. you can't help but feel bad. his real heat with honky tonk man and vince russo was real juicy! this one of the best interviews ever with a real legend, he was truly ahead of his time and would have made a great world champion in any promotion.

Truthfuly I was never a big "Hot Rod " fan growing up but this shoot has made me want to go look for some more of his other material, maybe even the WWE DVD. Piper tells it like it is and hold nothing back on Hall, Nash, and Mr Russo and why he rufussed to do the job to Hulk. Great shoot from the Rowdy One.

A great shoot and it's about five hours long and you are tuned in from start to finish. Much more informative then the Roddy Piper DVD set from WWE. If you want all the good stuff then this is the one to have in your collection.

Not worth it

I wish I'd spent my 20 bucks on another shoot, as this was not worth my money. I couldn't even finish the entire thing due to Piper's incoherent rambling and mumbling. There was one part where they tried to clip and edit to make one of his stories easier to understand and to cut down on the rambling, but it did no good. Piper seemed legitimetly lost on how to do an interview.
