--Just for more on the Brock Lesnar deal and to clarify everything. New Japan has not announced Lesnar on the 10/8 Tokyo Dome show officially. Masahiro Chono, however, talked about Lesnar being on the Tokyo Dome show earlier today when he was at the airport for a flight to Germany (his wife is a native German who he met while wrestling early in his career for Otto Wanz). The Lesnar/WWE lawsuits regarding Lesnar's non-compete clause until 2010 are still ongoing, which makes the story even more perplexing. On the surface, this doesn't seem to be the best judgment to do something like this in the middle of ongoing litigation.

--During Raw in Pittsburgh last night, they had an ad for Saturday night's show at the Golden Dome for the Hardcore Homecoming promotion, using footage from the Philadelphia show. They advertised Sandman, Jerry Lynn, Sabu, New Jack and the "e;hometown return of Pittsburgh's Franchise Shane Douglas."e; They also showed clips of Francine, Blue Meanie, Kid Kash, Justin Credible, Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten

 "e;Sean Waltman did not appear on Sunday's Pay-Per-View for reasons unknown at this time. Late in the day, TNA management made contact with Waltman, who said he would arrive shortly before the event, but to no avail. hopes to have an update as soon as possible once TNA speaks with Waltman."e;

Upon TNA's debut on Spike TV on October 1st, the company will be given a huge lead-in when the network runs a marathon of the second season of The Ultimate Fighter from 5 to 11pm. Spike is also pushing the live UFC card that takes place on October 3rd that will go head-to-head with WWE's Monday Night RAW returning to the USA Network.

On a related note, Spike TV has plans to give WWE a few "e;parting shots"e; in the form of the network's very popular "e;MXC - Most Xtreme Challenge"e; program that features old Japanese game shows revoiced with English. According to Spike, the October 6th episode is listed as "e;TNA vs. WWE"e; with the preview reading: "e;To celebrate the launch of Spike TV's new series TNA: iMPACT!, the network presents a brand new episode of MXC, titled: "e;TNA vs. WWE."e; It's meat, muscle, and mayhem as Total Non Stop Action Wrestling tries to smack down the WWE. It's the classic battle of tight shorts vs. mock sports."e;

Spike TV issued the following press release yesterday hyping the debut of TNA Impact on October 1st: "e; "e;Spike TV presents the new wrestling alternative, when Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's iMPACT! joins the 'Slammin' Saturday Night' lineup. Delivering a distinct brand of high-risk, live-action athletic entertainment, TNA's roster includes some of the most exciting and recognizable stars in wrestling today such as Jeff Jarrett, Raven, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Abyss, Sean Waltman, Christopher Daniels, Monty Brown and others. TNA features the high-flying "e;X Division,"e; the "e;Six-Sided Ring,"e; and concept matches such as "e;Ultimate X,"e; "e;King of the Mountain,"e; and "e;Six Sides of Steel."e;

Daniel Puder has been released from WWE.

Several former WWE wrestlers are backstage at the TNA PPV tonight. The Dudley Boyz are there, Shannon Moore, Mordecai, Test and Kenzo Suzuki. Those were some of the guys spotted. No word on whether or not anyone of them is going to make an appearance at the TNA Unbreakable PPV tonight.

The WWE is now interested in signing Sean Waltman before he signs with TNA. They didn't want to sign him before because of his affiliation with Joanie Laurer (his Ex, Chyna). They felt that if he would have stayed with her and was to work for their company, he wouldn't be as reliable and probably a bit messed up. But since his breakup, things are looking good for Waltman in terms of a possible WWE comeback. Another reason is his strong performance against Jerry Lynn at TNA's last PPV, which proves he still has what it takes.

In an update on the release issued on Wednesday, it was announced on that Monday Night RAW's return to the USA Network on October 3rd will now be a three hour show. The show will start one hour early than normal at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central.

Those confirmed for the show include Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, WWE Champion John Cena, Kurt Angle, Big Show and many others. This move to a three hour show was done mostly in part to UFC & Spike TV announcing that they would be running a live event head-to-head with RAW's debut on USA.
